WiFi Booster vs Extender: Boosting Your WiFi Signal

To increase your WiFi signal, there are two main options: a WiFi booster and a WiFi extender. Both devices will help improve your WiFi signal, but what is the difference between them?

A WiFi booster helps lengthen the reach of your WiFi signal, ultimately eliminating dead spots (areas without Internet or that are hard-to-reach) and improving your WiFi coverage. There are several types of WiFi boosters:

Which WiFi Booster you choose will depend on your network setup and needs.  If your WiFi signal is weak, then you need to boost your WiFi signal.  If your WiFi signal is strong but it struggles to reach every room in your home, then a WiFi extender or Mesh WiFi would be the better solution if your home is large with multiple floors. This will help your signal coverage and improve your wireless Internet.
