HTEM5 Reset Button Location

Use the RESET button to reboot or restore your HTEM5 settings. 

To REBOOT (or restart) the HTEM5 MoCA Adapter:

1. Unplug the HTEM5 Adapter from the power outlet and wait a few seconds.
2. Plug the HTEM5 Adapter back into the power outlet.
3. Within 3 minutes, check that the Power and MoCA LEDs on your HTEM5 Adapters are solid GREEN (to indicate that your HTEM5 is receiving power and that a MoCA connection has been established between HTEM5 Adapters.).

   NOTE:The MoCA connection may take up to 10 minutes to establish.

To RESTORE the HTEM5 configuration back to Factory Default Settings:

PLEASE NOTE:  Factory resetting your HTEM5 Coax to Ethernet Adapter will restore the HTEM5 Adapter back to its original factory default settings and any settings that you have modified will be lost and cannot be recovered.

Factory Reset the HTEM5 Adapter:

To RESTORE the HTEM5 configuration back to Factory Default Settings, locate the RESET button on the rear panel of the HTEM5 Adapter.

1. Insert the end of a paper clip or other small object with a narrow tip into the RESET opening on the back of your HTEM5 Adapter.
2. Press and hold the Reset button for 10 to 15 seconds or more to reset the HTEM5 back to its factory default settings.
