HTEM5 Setup

Connecting the first HTEM5 Adapter

1. Get one HTEM5 Adapter and an Ethernet Cable provided in the box.
2. Connect the Ethernet Cable from your Modem/Router to the HTEM5 Adapter.
3. Connect the Coax Cable from the Coax Outlet on the wall to the Coax Port on the HTEM5 Adapter.
   1. Note: If you want to connect a TV or cable set top box near your modem/router, you will need to connect a coax splitter to the HTEM5 coax port so you can connect both devices.
4. Connect the Power Adapter (included in the box) and connect it from the HTEM5 Adapter to a Power Outlet.
5. Wait until the Power Light on the front of the adapter is GREEN.

Connecting a second HTEM5 or additional HTEM5 Adapters

1. Get a HTEM5 Adapter and an Ethernet Cable (included in box).
2. Connect the Ethernet Cable from the Access Point or Device (gaming console, streaming TV player, laptop etc.) to the HTEM5 Adapter.
3. Connect a Coax Cable from the Coax Outlet on the wall to the Coax Port on the HTEM5 Adapter.
4. Connect the Power Adapter to the HTEM5 Adapter and to a Power Outlet.
5. Wait until the Power Light on the front of the adapter is GREEN and the MoCA light turns GREEN or BLUE.

Note: The MoCA light will turn Green when the MoCA network is in low speed.
