Having faster WiFi makes your Internet experience seamless compared to having a weak signal and slow connection, where everything suffers. Luckily, there are some easy ways to make your WiFi faster and you can do them yourself. Naturally, a wireless Internet connection is going to run into obstacles and may need a boost. When that time comes, use these WiFi signal boosting tips to get better Internet.

Make Your WiFi Faster

Here are some quick tips you can try to make your WiFi faster.

  1. Restart your router – Sometimes, it is as simple as a reboot.
  2. Move your router – Moving your router to a more central location in your home will help your WiFi signal reach your devices since distance can be an obstacle for WiFi.
  3. Change your router’s frequency band or channel – If the channel of frequency that your router is using is too congested, that will affect your Internet speed. Switch to a less crowded band or channel.
  4. Use your Coax TV wiring – Use MoCA adapters to create an Ethernet-over-coax network connection, connecting to any room with a coax outlet. MoCA adapters use your coaxial cable wiring to form a solid network connection with speeds up to 1 Gigabit per second and can connect to your router, giving your WiFi signal additional strength. Learn more about how MoCA technology and adapters work.

It is likely that with a few quick adjustments or using HT-EM4 MoCA adapters, you will see your WiFi speeds get faster and its performance will improve.
