UPnP

Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) is a protocol that lets UPnP-enabled devices on your network to automatically discover and communicate with each other, as well as create more direct channels of communication with the Internet.

This field displays all UPnP-enabled devices on your network.

Click Firewall > UPnP.  The following screen displays.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

Service Name
Local IP Address
Ports
Protocol
Use this field to turn UPnP On or Off.
E Enable to turn UPnP on.
E Disable to turn UPnP off.
This field displays all UPnP-enabled devices on your network.
This displays the name of the UPnP-enabled device.
This displays the LAN IP address of each UPnP-enabled device.
This field displays the specific the Ports that the UPnP-enabled device is using.
This field displays the specific Protocol that the UPnP-enabled device is using for example:
E Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)
E User Datagram Protocol (UDP)
E Both TCP and UDP (TCP/UDP)
